Hi there, I’m Kristin!

I believe that having beautiful things, and living a full life doesn’t have to be expensive. And it shouldn’t be — at least most of the time. My goal with Search & Dresscue is to introduce great fashion, blogging tips and lifestyle inspiration to those shoestringin’ it (like me). And hey, even if you’re not, maybe you just want to get creative and save some money.

Search & Dresscue is all about shoestringing with class.

Random facts

• I recently moved from Seattle to Suburbia — Modesto, California.
• I’ve been self-employed since the age of 21. I work from home as a writer, editor, and designer.
• I spent a large chunk of my youth in Europe with family, and have visited more than 20 countries. I’m tri-lingual as a result.
• I don’t really have a favorite color, but I seem to be drawn to green… no, teal. No, red. Ah, forget it!
• I love antiquing.
• Indian and Thai food — can’t get enough.
• I’ve worn glasses since the 6th grade without ever trying contacts.
• I don’t wear much makeup outside of special occasions — give me a tube of mascara and I’m ready to take on the world.
• I love film photography and shoot with an old Nikon F3.
• I once went completely blonde, but I’m pretty low maintenance. Yeah, I got over it quickly.
• I’ll end up owning a bunch of animals, a farm, or a bunch of land to put animals on.
